Sinohui Hinojosa is the Co-founder of Emerging Artist Productions and Partner at EAP Creative with over 25 years of production experience in creative media.
As a writer, producer and director, he works with clients that include Intel, Intel Security, VUDU, Life Eldercare, Nvidea, Grosvenor Americas, Urban Land Institute SF, Eden Housing, John Muir Health, IBM and Yahoo Inc. As an instructor and speaker, he teaches digital cinema techniques and provides creative services to independent filmmakers.
After a brief stint in the Air Force, Sinohui spent the next decade of his career in film distribution, sales & business development, at conferences, film markets & festivals selling to direct accounts like Netflix, Amazon, Virgin & Tower Records. As a filmmaker he produced and directed the short films "Pod Nation" (2005), "In Focus" (2006), the feature documentary "Scare Me: Behind the Scenes" (2007), the 13 episode web series "EXIT Stage Left" (2008/09) and Executive Produced the feature comedy "Cheer Up, Sam" (2010). He wrote, produced and directed a 30 min children's show for the CW44/Cable 12 channel (2010) and directed "Trigger Happy" which screened at the Los Angeles Comedy Shorts Film Festival (2011).
He co-founded the San Jose International Short Film Festival , where he produces the annual event & manages the program including curating each entry.
Produced/directed "Have I Done Any Good" music video (2012), with over a million views on Youtube and other sites, co-wrote and directed "Dark Harvest" (2013) a horror feature currently in post-production, numerous web and television projects and continues to support the local film community by hosting seminars & workshops for the San Jose Digital Filmmaker's Network. In 2013 he Co-founded the Walnut Creek International Short Film Festival which ran consecutively for five years, then transitioned that event to Yountville, where it is now in it's fourth year..
